Dear Free Indeed Intercessors,  Pentecost: An Outpouring of Love I first heard about the “Spirit of Love” decades ago though a Presbyterian church in Tracy, California. A family from that congregation had come to our church in Santa Clara and shared their testimonies with several of us. I was intrigued and went with others to Tracy for a midweek prayer meeting where the speaker was “Mr. Pentecost,” David DuPlessis. Tracy was a rural town, but at least 100 came to prayer, including pastors from several denominations and some local prostitutes...

Dear Free Indeed Intercessors,  “What’s the Good News? Christ died for sinners!” Holy Spirit reminded me of this Sunday School chorus from long ago inspiring me to share with you many snippets of his quality good news from the month of April. Celebrating Passover 2020, thanks to being shut in our homes, was more like the first Passover with Moses and Israelites and Jesus and the disciples than most Passover celebrations have been since. We believe the one was significant in its impact. As we spiritually applied the Blood of the Lamb of God on...

April 2020 Prayer Letter

Dear Free Indeed Intercessors,  Much has changed since the start of March. Congregations can’t meet in their buildings, we can’t even meet in coffee shops. Or homes, now. Trips have been canceled. Some are ill and others no longer allowed to work. With rampant fear all around, we still choose faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and fearing God only. Some of us now have more time in God’s word and more times of intimacy with him. In short, amazing opportunities for the kingdom of God and his people have opened up. Holy Spirit is ZOOMing in...

March 2020 Prayer Letter

Dear Free Indeed Intercessors, Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:14-15 The Gospel of the Kingdom Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom. Are we preaching and living it? What exactly does it mean? I’ve been trying to get a better handle on this and pondering how to present it in this space. The answer came when this Saturday morning I attended a Full Gospel...

New Year’s Day 2020 Prayer Letter

Posted by on 6:20 am in Prayer Letter | 0 comments

Dear Free Indeed Intercessors, I’m starting this New Year’s Day letter with the same first section that was in last month’s letter. It’s still the most important thing to say. Feel free to skip down to Prayer Requests and Answers where there are updates. Walking in Step with Holy Spirit for Washington State In the renewed initiative focusing on Washington State, the Lord has directed me to participate primarily in the NE quadrant of the state (roughly the Inland NW) while relating to a few others as we stand together for the whole state. As I...

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder… Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end… Isaiah 9:6-7 Spokane and the Inland NW Radiant with Jesus Christ, Impacting the Nations A Great Awakening was prophesied here in Spokane back in the 1960s and I have been eagerly awaiting it ever since.  For several years now I have sensed that we have our toes in the Awakening; we’re not yet fully in, but the waters of the Spirit are coming up rapidly.  More recently the Lord has...

December 2019 Prayer Letter

Dear Free Indeed Intercessors,  Walking in Step with Holy Spirit for Washington State In the renewed initiative focusing on Washington State, the Lord has directed me to participate primarily in the NE quadrant of the state (roughly the Inland NW) while relating to a few others as we stand together for the whole state. As I focus my spiritual gaze at Spokane’s Inland Empire-Northwest and all of Washington State, I sense a spiritual vibrancy. This indicates, I believe, a spiritually healthier condition than I can see with my eyes or hear with...

November 2019 Prayer Letter

Dear Free Indeed Intercessors, A Better Relationship with Holy Spirit For some time I have been sensing that my relationship with Holy Spirit was not what it should be. I was praying for the Lord to show me what to do. He answered that prayer in his inimitable way by getting Robby and me to a new-to-us congregation in Oak Harbor WA on Sunday morning, October 20th. The pastor speaking that day from Acts 2, introduced key characteristics of Holy Spirit. She also gave a very personal story of the tragic loss of two young daughters and how Holy...

October 2019 Prayer Letter

Dear Free Indeed Intercessors, Winsome Love for Jesus Softens My Heart Friday mornings are when Joel Endress and I regularly meet. But last Friday was no ordinary meeting. I asked Joel, “Where are we as Free Indeed Ministries and where are we going?” I didn’t record his answer; I wish I had. He spoke of the unity that we have on our team, the passion for the body of Christ to be one, and a God-given gift to help that happen. Then he spoke, as he always does, of his King Jesus with such love and tenderness. He rattled off so many...
