Dear Friends of Free Indeed Ministries, Int’l,
As the year 2025 was drawing to a close, we (Daniel and Robby Grether) quite unexpectedly
began to sense that the Lord was indicating that it was time to formally bring this ministry to a
close. In obedience, we have taken the required steps to accomplish this.
Free Indeed Ministries, Int’l, officially incorporated as a 501(c)3 in the State of Washington on
Valentine’s Day, 1997. Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws were drawn up and a Board was
established, some of whom remain with us to this day. We had the name of the new ministry
from the beginning, along with a vague idea that it had something to do with the concept of city-
reaching and bringing unity to the Body of Christ in the Spokane region. We also knew that
prayer was to be central to everything we were involved in.
Gradually the vision solidified and could be expressed in simple terms: Knitting the Body of
Christ together in love by 1) equipping leaders, 2) connecting communities and 3)
catalyzing movements. The focus was definitely on the Spokane region, with the goal that it
would become so radiant with Christ that the whole world would take note and recognize the
Lordship of Jesus.
To this end, over the years we have led and participated in all kinds of events and activities
throughout the region and beyond. Most of the time it’s been a behind-the-scenes effort,
sometimes challenging, often hard to realize much in the way of tangible results. Yet the Lord
has enabled us to be faithful to the calling, with our eyes on Him, having been assured that we
will live to see fruit from our labors.
We are deeply grateful for all of those who have helped to keep us going these 30 years with
prayer, encouragement and financial support. Of special note are the dear friends who walked
most closely with us as the Free Indeed Board.
Even though there is now no longer a legal entity called Free Indeed Ministries, Int’l, the vision
of a radiant Spokane remains strongly in our hearts. As members of the Abraham generation, we
intend to continue serving in the region as a father and mother (perhaps now grandfather and
grandmother!). Our role is to impart what we know, while praying for and encouraging the Isaac
and Jacob generations. We are most definitely NOT retiring, because God is not finished with us
yet!
With our love and blessing,
Daniel and Robby Grether
