Date Set for Church Building Dedication in Egypt
We fly on Wednesday
After three wonderful refreshing days of camping and water sports at Sam Owen Campground on Lake Pend Oreille with our daughter’s family of six, I was led to look one more time to see if any word had come from Egypt. At 9:20 pm in our tent on August 18th, we learned that the church building dedication in Egypt had been approved for Friday evening, August 31st.
Standing on the dock early the next morning where there was enough signal, I was able to confirm the date with Pastor Nathan Georggi in Cairo. Thankfully, he said, “Come just before the dedication, even on August 30th, the day before, because I have much to do before then. Stay with me after the dedication for the other things we will be doing together.” So we’ve had some time to prepare. Robby and I fly Wednesday morning, August 29th, arrive Thursday evening and participate in the dedication Friday evening, August 31st. Then we will find out what the Lord has in store for us during the following seven days in Egypt and fly home Saturday, September 8th, Lord willing.
The Lord is preparing us well and providing well through his people. We sense the significance of what we are stepping into. Thank you so much for your ongoing prayer support!!! Please pray also for Holy Spirit to empower Pastor Nathan Georggi and others to get everything in good order for Friday’s dedication.

Answered Prayers for August 2018

August 1: A Pro-Life Rally scheduled by Cathy McMorris Rogers at Centerplace. A reminder to vote and know which candidates stand for our values.
We appreciate Cathy’s pro-life convictions. Many spoke at the rally. Altogether they presented the deepest, broadest, fullest understanding of “pro human life” in every sense that I have ever heard.
August 6: Daniel and Robby Grether’s regular prayer session at My Father’s House of Prayer every Monday, 6:00-8:00 pm.
These are special times praying in God’s presence, led by the Spirit.
August 7: Meeting with Kevin Parker.
We weren’t able to meet on this date.
August 9: Franklin Graham’s Decision America NW Tour, 7:30 pm, at the Spokane County Fairgrounds.
It was a privilege to talk and pray with those who stood up when the call was given.
August 10: Free Indeed Ministries and My Father’s House of Prayer team meetings and later with Blake Alford.
The teams didn’t meet, but it was a very good time with Blake.
August 11: Wedding reception for Joseph Miller and Sonia Gentet Miller at Eagle Valley Montana, celebrating their wedding in Switzerland.
In the last six weeks, Daniel and Robby have attended wedding receptions for three couples that bring not only families but cultures together in their marriage. Our Amish brother Joseph met Sonia from French-speaking Switzerland at a ministry training center in Cyprus. His extended family attended the wedding in Switzerland and hers came to Eagle Valley for the reception two weeks later. In the extended remembering, recounting, blessing and praying, the destiny on this couple was clear.
August 16-24: Family camping at Sam Owen on Lake Pend Oreille.
August 31: Pastor Nathan Georggi’s Lighthouse ministry in Egypt will be dedicating their wonderful new “cathedral” building. Daniel and Robby Grether are going to Egypt to take part in the dedication. Your financial support through Free Indeed Ministries Int’l designated for Egypt would be appreciated along with your prayer support.
We have been strongly supported in so many ways by the Lord himself and by your prayers and financial support from you and others. The plane flights are covered and more. Thank you!

August 19-September 8: Daniel and Robby will on the mission trip to Egypt to support Pastor Nathan Georggi and the churches there in the dedication of the new church building and the ongoing work there.
The rest of September will be a strong focus on the 2018 Spokane Regional Leaders Prayer Summit October 1-3, 2018. Please pray for the Lord to provide his choice of worship leader.
