THS Academy for Pastoral Leadership
Training Pastors better, faster and at less cost-from Spokane
Friday, June 25, 2021, John Repsold, Pastor of Mosaic Spokane, welcomed me and others to a the presentation of the THS Academy for Pastoral Leadership. John pointed out that many of those in attendance have been pastors and leaders in Spokane for decades, indicating health in the Church in Spokane. It was a thrill to gather with longtime friends for worship, dinner, conversation and an opportunity to learn about THS Academy, founders and staff.
Tom and Inga Haase are the founders and leaders of the THS Academy. They left their home country of Germany in 2019 to grow their school further in the USA. It was thrilling and inspiring to hear them. I’ve thought very highly of Tom since first meeting him at a Spokane Prayer Summit in October of 2019. Robby and I had a dinner in their home shortly thereafter and we came to know and appreciate Inga as well.
Students around the world have been and are being trained by THS. I believe it was Lukas Rauch that presented the advantages of this unique school from his own experience. The school presents excellent Biblical-theological training three mornings each week. It also places students with congregations where they can be mentored within the body of Christ. The full course is three years, not four, and the cost is much less than other schools. Students graduate prepared to confidently enter their ministries.
Coming out of lockdown, it was great to be unmasked and physically present with such a large group of Spokane area pastors and leaders. The greetings before, sharing during and further conversations afterwards were rich. Thank you, Tom and Inga Haase of THS for doing such a good job of pulling all of us together! May your Academy for Pastoral Leadership produce many productive and reproducing leaders for ere and around the world.

Tuesday-Thursday, June 1-3 – Robby and Daniel will celebrate Robby’s mother Carol’s 99th birthday with her and brother Garth in Seattle on June 3rd. We loved our time with our dear family.
June 11 – Free Indeed Ministries Int’l Team meeting. Our team focused on helping us with details on producing the testimony videos.
Saturday, June 19 – WA Kingdom Alliance Strategic Prayer Gathering Each one adds his or her strengths in prayer. We are encouraged and confident that heaven answers.
Tuesday-Wednesday, June 29-30 – Daniel will attend the first since February 2020 in-person Table 71 meeting at WyCliffeUSA headquarters in Orlando FL. Reports around the table contained much good news of progress in Finishing The Task along with what still needs to be done. We’ve partnered together, meeting three tines a year, since August 2000. We’re now in a time of transition and will be seeking the Lord’s direction about next steps. With hearts full of praise and worship, we concluded with faith-filled prayer requests around the room.
