Dear Free Indeed Intercessors,
July was an amazing month with Holy Spirit bringing revival history to light, meeting new friends that are pillars in Jesus’ Ekklesia, enjoying reunions with old friends, gaining new focus on significant scriptures, hearing awesome testimonies of what Jesus is doing and experiencing a big Tent Revival here in Spokane. Everything together led to a deeper understanding of how the character, authority and power that the Name of Jesus has made available to us can impact our city.

The Transatlantic Movement Known as The Great Awakening
Sparked in part by The Cambuslang Revival
Matthew 18:18 Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
“Conditions were deplorable” in the little town of Cambuslang Scotland, in 1741-2, as are some conditions in Spokane and the USA today. The Pastor William M’Cullough was discouraged as things continued to go in the wrong direction. “There was absolutely no sign of revival or any kind of spiritual growth in the community. The congregation sank deeper and deeper into sin, spiritual death and apathy.” There seemed to be no hope. “until M’Culloch was given information about a revival in Northampton, New England (USA), under the ministry of Jonathan Edwards… (and) M’Culloch started reading to his congregation the accounts of what God was doing in the USA.”
I hope you will take the time to read how quickly the conditions changed from Cambuslang to the American colonies, resulting in a transatlantic movement known as The (First) Great Awakening. I was encouraged that the Lord can and is kicking off the same kind of movement in Spokane right now. For those with eyes to see, hearts that believe and the willingness to listen and obey, this is a great time to be alive.
